Trust. Once you lose it, it is difficult to gain it back. Right? This is what we hear. Yet, I see and read regularly about leaders who seem to be very ignorant maintaining that trust. Or maybe they just don't get it?

I am reading Menzel again. The article published in Public Inetgrity (2009, 11:4) titled "I didn't do anything unethical, illegal or Immoral" is a case study of eruption of ethical problems in one American county. A very interesting article.

Lately I have been thinking a lot of the pressure that conflicting values cause to officials and public servants. I mean, when you enter the organization you probably are aware the main values, objectives and vision the organization has. If that is largely something you would oppose in your personal life you'd probably wouldn't have sought to work...

It has been extremely interesting to follow the news and discussion before, during and after the US presidential elections last November. One topic seems to pop up rather frequently, especially right after the result was clear and now, when the inauguration day is getting closer.

Writing a blog has been in my mind several years. I've tried and failed many, many times. I always ran into the same problem: level of privacy. This blog will not be about my personal life. This blog will be about my personal thoughts, though.
